Saya jual ye bang
I really need to ranttttttt. Recently I watched a Malay movie, and what attracted me to download this movie was the poster which was soooo sexually suggestive. I really need to see why this movie passed the Censorship board, because it felt that there would be so many wrong things in the movie. So I watched it. Basically it was about a girl who was fired from her job because of a bad luck day. After 2 jobless months, she finally got a job at a shop, acting as a salesperson. But she was so bad at it. One thing led to another, and she was finally good at it (Thanks to AC Mizal, who acted as her mentor).
So she decided to apply for a job in Astro. And as usual, she got. At this point, she was pressured by her mother in law to produce an heir, and her husband was reluctant to let her work in fear of her changing. And as you know, with all new employees, they were expected to be devoted to their work. So the girl no longer had time for her husband, and were always spending time either working or expanding her social network with her colleagues and all. The husband ended up always alone and could only see his wife on the TV (his wife is working as a TV host). It was kind of sad, but I believe it is more because he is a mechanic who has a fixed working hour and his wife doesn't. So since they don't have a time where they could be together, the husband ended up feeling more lonelier.
From a feminist point of view, I think it's unfair for a woman to be potrayed of having to choose between work and family, and are expected to always choose family over work. I mean, it's 2019! Why can't a woman work and be happy with it? Like why does she always have to be made to feel guilty for not being able to spend time with the family? Or producing an offspring? I mean, WHHYYYYYYYY?????
From a collective point of view, sure, you can't focus on being an individual. It's wrong. there's no I in team. Yada yada yada.
Sometimes the world needs a better human.
